For physical mapping GreenAcres can provide you with standard BAC libraries and additional High Molecular Weight DNA technologies
. GreenAcres works exclusively with AMPLICON express for manufacturing high quality BAC libraries. When applicable GreenAcres designs and manages the use of overgo sequences for hybridization on selected filters of BAC clones.

Depending on the specific needs GreenAcres develops a strategy to order the clones in formats that will facilitate specific screening or contig building. GreenAcres delivers Fingerprinting data for use in Fingerprinted Contig ProgramV9.0. Next to the more traditional Fingerprinting methods GreenAcres has developed procedures to utilize Next Generation Sequencing approaches of pooled BAC DNA to construct local and global physical maps. A typical BAC clone is represented by 50-100 short sequences that together form the sequence Identifier (seqID) for this 100-150kb of genomic sequence. BAC clones can be pooled up to ~10,000 without compromising the allocation of pooled sequences to their single BAC coordinate. The resulting data are filtered and prepared for export to FPC.

Follow the Notes for Use at the INPUT sheet. The pricing of the NGS based strategy depends fully on the number of runs and downstream data analysis. GreenAcres uses Illumina Genome Analyzer sequencing system in combination with in-house template technologies and Illumina sequencing technology.
